Disney’s Wall-E

Disney’s summer hit movie, Wall-E, now comes in a book. The Wall-E Junior Novel is written by one of the writers Disney relies on, Irene Trimble. Trimble has written numerous novelizations for various Disney films. Her bestselling works include Disney Presents a Pixar Film: The Incredibles (The Junior Novelization), Pirates of the Carribean series (Junior Novelization), and Meet the Robinsons: The Junior Novel (with Mary Olin).

Trimble’s newest junior novel tells the story of a robot named Wall-E who was left on Earth after the last humans went away. Wall-E stands for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class. This little robot is fond of collecting knick-knacks, but after being left alone, he goes off the planet and travels across the galaxy where he gets into one exciting and unforgettable adventure after another as he tries to deal with a battleship full of people and robots. Eventually, Wall-E becomes a hero and falls in love with Eve, a female robot.

The book is perfect for readers aged 9 to 12 years; and will easily be the favorite of kids who enjoyed the movie. It comes with an embossed cover and 8 exciting and fun pages of full-color movie stills taken from the movie. It is basically a condensed version of the film, so even if your child has not yet seen the movie, this book will definitely deliver pure fun and enjoyment for him.

Reader-critics find the book enjoyable and thoroughly entertaining. It covers a lot of details about Wall-E’s story, one that children will easily love. It is no wonder then that the book is in the 10th spot of The New York Times’ Children’s Books Chapter Books Bestsellers.

Other Wall-E books that children may also enjoy include the Wall-E Little Golden Book and Smash Trash!, a reading book.
